About Me

 

I’m Michelle von Geis, the owner & photographer of Von Geis Photography! I love being able to capture the sweet memories of life through film, and I feel blessed that I get to meet so many wonderful people through this work.


I am a film & digital photographer based out of Knoxville, TN, and I’ve been a photographer since 2017.


My friends say I'm quirky and intentional.  My husband says I'm a silly goose, loving, and anxious, ha!


My husband and I met on Bumble in 2020, and he is my biggest supporter. Our little family consists of 2 dogs and 5 cats! My husband and I enjoy cars, ice cream, being silly, eating good food, and hanging out at home in our comfy clothes!


God is the love of my life, and I cannot thank Him enough for bringing me to where I am today. Before I started photography, I wrote a blog called "Live Happily Inked" that was about living a life happily inked by God's love, and some of those posts are shared here on this website.

When do I get my photos?


Film photos take about 1-2 weeks.




How do I get my photos?


Your digital and film photos are sent to you via email, and you are able to download them with a code that is provided to you in the email. I highly recommend you download the highest quality option (do not screenshot as the images loses quality) and save the gallery to a USB or a few cloud sources. And print them!! If you want higher quality prints you can shop directy through your gallery, or you can upload your photos to Mpix. They have tons of great high quality print options.


For film photos you also receive all photos printed out and mailed to you!



Do you offer wedding photography?


I do not currently offer wedding photography. I will occasionally take on my own wedding on film every now and then, but for the most part I am mainly a second photographer for Wild Alchemy Photos and Kelsey Shea Photography.



Do you travel?


I do not consider myself a travel photographer! I mainly stay in East Tennessee.
